Did you know Windows 10 and 11 have a hidden God Mode feature? It is like a superpower for your computer. With just a few simple steps, you can unlock a special menu that gives you access to over 200 system settings in one place. No more hunting through endless menus or digging into the control panel!

This guide will show you what God Mode is, how to enable it, and why it is so helpful. Ready to unlock your PC’s potential? Let’s dive in and discover the magic of God Mode!

What is God Mode in Windows 10/11?

In Windows 10//11, God Mode offers a centralised menu with access to more than 200 tools and system settings. It arranges all settings into a single, easily navigable list and is officially called the “Windows Master Control Panel shortcut.” This eliminates needing to look through the Control Panel or different menus to discover your needs.

It does not add new features to Windows; instead, it consolidates existing ones into one place. You can adjust display settings, manage user accounts, configure network settings, and much more from one convenient window.

How to Enable God Mode in Windows 10/11

Enabling God Mode in Windows 10 or 11 is a straightforward process that takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to unlock this powerful feature:

1.    Create a New Folder on the Desktop

Start by right-clicking on an empty space on your desktop. From the context menu, select New and then click on Folder. This will create a new, unnamed folder on your desktop.

2.    Rename the Folder with the God Mode Code

Rename the folder using the following exact text:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Once you press Enter, the folder name will disappear, and the folder icon may change to a Control Panel icon. This indicates that God Mode has been successfully enabled.

3.    Open the God Mode Folder

Double-click the newly created folder to open it. Inside, you'll find a menu with over 200 system settings and tools, all neatly categorized for easy access. Categories include Devices and Printers, Backup and Restore, and many more.

Optional: Create Shortcuts for Quick Access

If there are specific settings you use frequently, you can create individual shortcuts on your desktop. To do this, simply drag and drop any item from the God Mode folder onto your desktop. For example, if you want quick access to the Manage audio devices setting, drag it out of the folder to create a dedicated shortcut.

Be Aware of Icon Changes

Over time, especially after restarting your computer, the folder’s icon may change. This is normal and does not affect its functionality. You can continue using God Mode as intended.

Conclusion

God Mode is a powerful yet simple tool that makes managing your Windows 10 or 11 system easier and more efficient. By providing centralized access to hundreds of settings, it saves time and eliminates the hassle of navigating through scattered menus. So, give it a try and unlock the full potential of your PC!
